Emma Braithwaite, Sales Quality Manager

My story

I joined A-Plan in 2011 as an insurance consultant selling car, home and van insurance in Motor Direct. I then moved to Tooting, where I spent time in the car team and then moved on to the home team. Whenever new employees started in the company, they would shadow me so I could teach them about the quote sheet and the system. My Branch Manager recognised my ability to train and promoted me to Performance Manger in 2014. In 2016, I was promoted to Sales Quality Manager at our head office in Witney. As part of this role, I run focused sales review meetings for each branch, ensuring compliance and sales quality remain at the forefront of the agenda.

Over the years I have attended a number of informative training programs that have helped to develop my sales skills. When I moved into a compliance role, I also received a lot of support from the Business Risk Management Team who shared their knowledge and expertise. I have thoroughly enjoyed every role I have taken on and am excited to see what’s in store for the future!
