As the “Managing Director” of your own branch, you’ll have substantial free rein to achieve the quality of service required to maintain A-Plan’s outstanding reputation in the insurance market. Working with a team of people in your branch, you’re responsible for the development and effectiveness of the business to ensure its long-term success. Your ability to lead, plan, inspire and communicate effectively with your team will be key to its success.
As the “second in command” to the Branch Manager, you’ll run the branch in the Manager’s absence and be responsible for organising workloads to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to embrace a collaborative team-working approach, to plan, structure and manage the workload are vital.
As an Insurance Consultant, you’ll have a varied role that may include client service, sales, dealing with client renewals, claims and general requests for advice and guidance. As a key member of the branch team, you’ll work with your colleagues to provide a professional, careful and accurate service to our clients. The role will involve both telephone and face-to-face conversations with clients to help them with their insurance needs. Your ability to listen effectively and to communicate clearly and simply, avoiding the use of jargon, will be important for this role.
We’re on the lookout for staff to provide support to our branches, covering a range of functions including Compliance, Finance, IT, Marketing, Operations and Training. As a close-knit team in which all functions work independently as well as collaboratively, the aim is to achieve our goal of enhancing our services to clients. Your ability to communicate effectively, plan and prioritise is key.
